Can somebody please tell me why I've gained weight???
The only thing I've done different is move from week one to week two in food choices. I can now eat beans and egg.
The other thing, the first scale I bought for $14.xx broke after one week. The new scale I bought today for $50.xx has this new weight on it. Both scales are from Macy's.
Input anyone???
i wouldn't be surprised if they tell you to not weigh yourself every day. you don't want to add stress on top of stress. now that you have, it would be interesting to see how your weight at the doctor's office 2 days ago would compare to the same today. also, it sounds like you've been less active since the surgery, which might be a factor.
ReplyDeleteHi Joann, believe it or not, they told us to weigh ourselves every day...
ReplyDeleteAlso, I walked for 20 minutes today and since I feel better, I am out and about compared to being stuck in bed and sleeping...
Hi Marisela, I am glad you are doing well. The weight is probably because it's a different scale. You probably already know that weight fluctuates daily depending on water retention, time of day, clothing, and bowel movements. Don't worry or stress, you will be successful. Have a great weekend. ReplyDeleteThank you Adele and thanks for posting a comment here. I appreciate these!
ReplyDeleteThis morning my weight was 277.6, so yes, something was haywire somewhere along the line. Your suggestions helped because I already thought it was the scale. It was most likely water retention.
I hope everything is going great with you. How was your vacation?
i guess if they told you to do that, then do it for them and don't think about it. let them figure it out :) . so glad you are getting out more!
ReplyDeleteHi Joann, yes, doing better and better in that category. For two days I just barely did 20 minutes each.
ReplyDeleteYesterday, while following my kids and grandkids, I did 30 minutes. The last part of the 30 minutes was a small incline and I gunned it, woo hoo!!
Thanks again for your input!
