Dancing

Last night I went to Heritage Square in Oxnard to listen to the last concert of the Summer Season.  I was invited by a couple of friends that love to dance.  I thought I can't possibly do this, much less keep up with them.  However, lo and behold, I did it!

Prior to surgery, I was lucky to dance one half of one song.  Yesterday, however, with only a couple of breaks, I danced the majority of the two hours and 15 minutes that the band played for.  After that event ended, I made my way to the Moose Lodge where I continued to take on another two songs.  Whew!!!

The bad/good news... This morning, my feet hurt and every muscle in my body aches.  I will consider this good news because after all, it is exercise.

And now a shout to our Family friend Beth Weaverling.  Beth had gastric bypass surgery on July 11, 2011.  She has lost an AMAZING 43 pounds.  Congratulations Beth, I am very proud of you!
